Aerating your water is an essential part of maintaining a healthy and balanced lake. By mechanically adding dissolved oxygen to the water column it allows the oxygen to be injected into various depths mixing the water and preventing stratification. Stratified layers act as a barrier to the mixing of water, which impacts the exchange of heat, carbon, oxygen and other nutrients which can lead to major problems with dissolved oxygen levels. Aeration enables water to mix through the water column allowing unwanted alcohols, gases and toxins to ‘tap off’ at the water surface. Aerators are able to add essential movement and oxygen to your lake or pond as well as keeping it healthy and balanced.
We can provide services for the hire of aerators through the hotter months, as well as installations of fountains, splash aerators, pumps for bottom aeration and infusion. Remote installations via generators or simple plug in systems are also available.
